CONTENT: This homepage is part of the WWW since 8/1/1995 (former name Tikopage) and has been changed a lot. With the new name AstroTrekking, I want mainly concentrate on the topics Astronomy and Trekking. I will add many staff about these topics. In the area of Astronomy I want to explain (beside others) topical science in easy words with the help of Javascript and Java-Applets to illustrate complicated science in an easy way. In the area of Trekking I want to give (amongst others) detailed reports of my own travel- and Trekking-tours with many pictures and useful hints.

NAME: The name AstroTrekking is on the one hand the synonym of the main topics of my homepage and on the other hand it symbolize the connection between these different things. Astronomy and Trekking are both fascinating things with many surprises when one explore either the universe or the planet Earth. I would like to invite the visitor of my homepage top follow me to a great travel through space and time. Step by step, I will fill my web page with more an more content.
